Roberto Matta, the heart is an eye
Organized by the Association of Former Chilean Political Prisoners in France, this evening pays tribute to Roberto Matta's political activism in Chile. Following the return of democracy in 1990, he received the National Arts Prize, and in 1997, the Order of Merit for Teaching and Culture.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with Fabrice Maze. Join us on Friday, April 3, 2026, at 7:00 PM !

On February 9th at 7 pm, the French Institute in Barcelona will be screening the film "Arthur Cravan, a headlong plunge into life"!
​
The screening will be attended by director Rémy Ricordeau and the director of the Picasso Museum, Emmanuel Guiguon.
​
Arthur Cravan left France for Spain in 1916, settling in Barcelona where his "legendary" fight against former world boxing champion Jack Johnson took place.
